RESISTANCE OF KLEBSIELLA PNEUMONIAE TO ANTIBIOTICS OF CAT TREATED AT ANIMAL CLINIC

The antibiotic resistance of Klebsiella pneumoniae has become a global health concern, leading in reduction the efficacy various medications. This study seeks to determine K. isolated from cats hospitalized Depok veterinary clinics. Surveys, sample collection, isolation, identification, and susceptibility testing comprised research technique. Seven isolates were discovered. There seven cefotaxime resistant isolates, three amoxicillin one gentamicin isolate, enrofloxacin strain. At same concentration, isolate shown intermediate amoxicillin, enrofloxacin, doxycycline. Sensitivity was demonstrated by six doxycycline five isolates. information should help veterinarians choose best efficient treat infections caused these bacteria.
